Hm Wire International offers 2 or more strands of ETP Copper Wire to be bundled together to form the cable for your application. We have done projects that require more than 10,000 strands successfully.
Cut and pre-tinned wires are perfect in applications where very flexible lead wires are necessary. They are ideal in micro electronics and in similar areas where scarcity of space is an issue.
The wires are cut to specific lengths and tinned accurately in both ends, and therefore both assembly time as well as usage of materials are reduced.
Hm Wire International Ultra Fine Litz Wire are made from pure ETP copper with a fine polyurethane enamel. Available in litz and solid.
Solid wires are very strong but not so flexible. Litz wires are very flexible.
Ultra Fine Litz Cable must have enough copper to withstand the heat of FEP compound during the extrusion process.

Ultra Fine Tinned Litz Wire
Tinned Litz wires are tinned 0.02” (0.4 mm) in each end. Such short tinning minimizes the risk of short circuits and wires that are broken due to stress and/or corrosion.
Tinned Litz preserves the anti feedback benefits and is resistant to corrosion. Also Tinned Litz contains no cadmium,
nickel nor beryllium.
What makes Tinned Litz outstanding and excellent:
1. Short tinning: No metal is left exposed between the enamel and the solder bump, and shorts are thus minimized. Trimming of the tinned ends is now unnecessary; a very important feature on small solder-pads.
2. Silver plating: Easier to solder than pure copper, so even though the wire is covered with a double built enamel, it is just as easy to solder as traditional single-covered polyurethane wires.
